The 'Sant Josep és Foto' Festival, in Ibiza's showcase at the World Travel Market

On Friday, October 18, the presentation of the Ibiza's stand and programming at the World Fair Travel London Market , the most important in the world in terms of the tourism sector. It will be held between 5 and 7 November and there the island will have its own stand of 116 square metres, where the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia will also be represented.
One of the tourist products that will be promoted from this stage, as well as one of the main novelties of the island, will be the festival ‘Sant Josep és Foto’, which was mentioned for the first time by the mayor of Sant Josep, Vicent Roig, in a public event. Roig revealed the different values and contents that the photography contest will have and projected an explanatory video that highlights its main characteristics.
“This year we are adding an important initiative that will be held for the first time in Sant Josep in April, as a further effort to extend the season. It is Sant Josep es Foto,” announced the mayor of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, who also highlighted that the event represents “a date with photography promoted by professionals Joan F. Ribas and José Juan Gonzálvez , which aims to promote photographic tourism, taking advantage of the incomparable settings offered by the different environments of the municipality, which are among the best known and most photographed on the island of Ibiza.”
The central event for promoting tourism will take place on November 6 , at 6 p.m., with the presentation ‘Embrace The Authentic Ibiza’, which will be held at The Mandrake Hotel in central London, in front of 40 specialist influencers, journalists and travel agents. It should be noted that 1 in 5 tourists arriving in Ibiza in 2024 came from the United Kingdom.
